I have questions about moving buying a house and money for stuff...?

Okay I know this will sound crazy to a lot of people but i like to plan ahead and sometimes it really is necessary to do so-people just don't think about it till its too late. Anyway in 3 years me and my boyfriend (hopefully by then hes not my boyfriend) want to move from PA to Im thinking FL. So I figure since it cost about $2,000 to move from west chester pa to Hazeton pa With that thinking it might cost $5,000 to move to FL (my boyfriends parents moved up here from FL and it cost them $5,000 and they have a lot of stuff). Currently with the state of the economy and a lot of bad luck were kind of in a whole...a big one. first we have to get out of credit card debt- hopefully if we can both find jobs but since we currently have no car-its being fixed things are really bad. Once that car comes back my boyfriends getting a job since he has more to offer and therefore can be paid higher. After we pay off debt I couldn't think of how to go about planning. Most of our furniture is junk, my boyfriend thinks it would be a good idea to save up money for new stuff and then skip paying to move junk down that were just going to be replacing-but there's no way we can save up a 30,000 deposit and money for new stuff all in 3 years. (We are planning to buy a place) Currently our expenses are low, rents only $500. Im thinking that it may well be worth it, since FL is where we want to settle and live, to save up the 30,000 deposit + other money needed for buying a home (i estimated around 5,000 for all the little stuff like forms and just to be safe.) and also enough money to move down there. and maybe another 5,000 so were not completely house poor and then get jobs asap since we would have sent resumes prior to moving. Or is this completely stupid? I need someone with experience that knows about moving. We really want to start our lives and we want to get our home. We have plans of marriage and kids by a certain time (heath reasons kind of limit how long i want to wait) and we know we don't want to be having those kids up here. So any suggestions on how much money i should expect to need and there fore how much i should save for the moving/buying process and if I should wait till we're setted into our new home before buying new furniture- (which pro is that it will all fit that home perfectly, but also means i have to pay to move everything down.) Sorry if im rambling I just cant get my head to stop spinning with thoughts... no im not crazy = ) any help would be greatly appreciatedd.I have questions about moving buying a house and money for stuff...?
You will not be able to buy a house unless you have a job. No lender is going to give you money on the hope that you will be making money ';real soon now';. So you don't move anywhere until you have a job. Or, you can save up a sizable chunk of money and hope that someone will rent to you if you prepay while you job hunt. And then, forget about new furniture. I was out on my own for over 10 years before I bought ';new'; furniture. Goodwill, garage sales, Craig's list, stuff that you assemble from K-Mart, all are a lot cheaper. Your spot won't be perfect, with matching draperies and seat cushions, but it's a heck of a lot more affordable. And then you can start saving up money to replace things as they wear out. So that will give you time to save up money to buy the new things that you want.
