How do i get a free computer for college? I am a single mother with absolutely no extra money to buy one!!?

I am a single mother of an 8 month old. I recently started college. Im finding it hard to go to the computer lap at the college everytime i need to use a computer. It would be much easier for me to sit at home and study becuase im also a stay at home mom. I have absolutely no extra money to buy one either. And financial aid is not an option because i got a grant to go for free simply for the fact i am a single mother and i dont want to go into debt. Try contacting a charity such as Goodwill and asking if they ever give computers away for people in your situation. They take in many donated computers and may be willing to help you. How do i get a free computer for college? I am a single mother with absolutely no extra money to buy one!!?

look at second hand stores to see prices of USED computers- even some computer stores sell some used ones - phone around.
No such thing as a free computer. You should ask the schools fin aid office to do a work study job on campus. Or you could as your baby's daddy for about 600 dollars. I saw a computer advertised for this much last week.
