How do I get a court order to force my ex-fiance' into selling our home that we bought?

We bought the house back in November of 2005 and now we are no longer living together in the home. I left the home rather than stay due to domestic violence and because I could not afford the payments for the house alone. Now he says that if I don't pay my half of the mortgage every month that he with take me to court and sue for the half that I owe and yet we've had an offer to buy the home from a member of my church and he refuses on the grounds that he wants to keep the home. The court says that I need to hire a lawyer but I don't have th money to pay a lawyer and so I need info on how to represent myself. How do I get a court order to force my ex-fiance' into selling our home that we bought?
Any reputable lawyer will give you a free consultation. Take them up on it.How do I get a court order to force my ex-fiance' into selling our home that we bought?
You have to go to an attorney. Only a judge can make her sell the home if both of your names are on it. The judge will probaly either make you guys sell it or make her buy you out of your share.
